And I’m not super into audio but a lot into tinkering, a while ago I helped a friend to set up a podcast/recording station and it was crazy, the amount of adapters, thread sizes and hot shoes. And that was just the recording, interfacing and recording sw was another full beast!!

brother Jeff, nice video as always. You said you cover up the wall air vent during filming, and I thought perhaps you might considered a flush air vent that is more video ready and more permanent. There's a company call Aria that makes flush wall air vents which may suite your taste and needs without having to constantly cover it up and uncover it. :)

Your studio is amazing Jeff, but i want to make a little suggestion, since your videos are on a still position, why not take a picture or something of the vent closed, then import the picture and overlay it in the vent in your video files? that way you get oxygenated normally and the vent is hidden.

So.. did you reorganize/straighten up before this video or are you one of those gifted people able to maintain an organized workspace for an extended period of time? I can usually keep my office organized because I spend most of my time there, but my basement and garage shops typically get a little bit more messy until I hit a breaking point and spend a day restoring order.

Instead of covering the vent during videos, why not 3D print a nicer looking cover for it so it can always stay open but isn't an eyesore?

For the vent I suggest to Put a small Sound dampening Panel in its front, but still with an airgap, so Sound ist might make gets dampend but you dont suffocate that fast

My wife's work from home setup uses a PoE phone and she had to call IT because it couldn't connect to their VPN, but the tech told her he didn't understand how it was working with no power supply because I have a PoE switch. Gave me a good laugh.
