I have just bawled listening to this song. My husband and I have pastored a church since 2009, and we've had our hearts broken more times than I can count. We've watched people fall away from the Lord and their calling on their lives. We've helped and helped those who wouldn't help themselves, and then when we tried to encourage them to help themselves by taking a step back, they forgot about all we had done for them, and we'll just say they were not so nice. We sacrificed time and money, only to see people walk away. It's a struggle to walk in this calling on our lives, but because I'm drawn to Him, I press on. It's been so painful at times. The loss at times has been almost unbearable, but my hope is in Him, and not this world. I've been blessed in ministry also. I've witnessed many salvations, baptisms, marriages restored, healings, seeing people receive freedom from addictions, and others being set free from sin, unforgiveness, and bitterness. I thank God He allowed me to be a part of it. Ministry is so tough at times though. Because we open our heart up to people and we're striving to have a heart like Jesus, I believe that's why the pain hurts that much more. My husband always says...imagine how Jesus felt...He was so good, all that He did, and yet He was crucified and all alone. His hope was in His Father. Someone sent me this song today...thank you for following your calling because through Him, you are touching and blessing people like me. God Bless!

This is so beautifully encouraging... I have been struggling against homosexual attraction for about 10 years and have doubted my salvation throughout that time, wondering if I could be loved despite how disgusting I feel. But I am sure that I have been washed clean, for my God keeps drawing me to his side. Life is so painful, but I can endure it knowing that he holds me so tightly. He will complete his good work on my heart. Praise be to our powerful and awesome God!!! 😭☺️

We just lost our precious son aged just 33 years old. And we couldn’t fly back to say goodbye or kiss him or touch his face one last time because of the lockdowns... we know that Asher is with the Lord in heaven, yet tho we have this blessed hope that we will see him again soon when Jesus comes for us, our whole lives will never be the same again on earth as we know it. Asher has always been a huge part of our lives not only his stature but that his kidney is still alive and functioning so well in his younger brother! How he loved and served God and had such a compassion for the lost and suffering and was a huge giver and blesser and would literally lay his life down for his loved ones!! How much God must have wanted him back earlier!! Yet your absence here on earth is felt so painfully our darling! Some day soon, we’ll have the most awesome reunion in heaven...soon!!

As much time as I've spent on YouTube in past years listening to new music & attaching myself to some favorites, I have to praise God for leading me to this delightful song presented in such a special way! I actually just happened upon it one night and I played it over and over and wept in thankfulness for how sweetly the lyrics and melody touched my heart and spirit.
