Join me for a walk through the centre of one of Northumberland's most stunning villages: Bamburgh. Though only home to around 400 people today, this village is full of history and spectacular views, with heritage going back millennia that draws in thousands of visitors every year!

As we walk around Bamburgh, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including St. Aidan's Church, Grace Darling Memorial, Grace Darling Museum, Bamburgh Hall, The Grove, Front Street, The Victoria Hotel, The Castle Inn, The Lord Crewe Hotel, Castle Green, Bamburgh War Memorial, Bamburgh Castle and Bamburgh Beach.

Thank you so much to the following sites for their help in my research of Bamburgh:

Good evening! And welcome to a narrated 'redux' of one of my favourite walks on the channel so far, in the spectacular Northumberland village of Bamburgh - a must-visit if you're ever in the area!

The village, despite its small size, is home to all manner of fascinating landmarks, from St. Aidan's Church to the Castle and more - but a little further north along the beach from where we finish our walk in this video, you'll also find Bamburgh Lighthouse, the northernmost land-based lighthouse in England. Though not the lighthouse in which Grace Darling lived, Bamburgh Lighthouse is an eye-catching landmark to walk along the beach towards if you're visiting or staying in the village!

So truly enjoyed this walk. Bamburgh is one of my favourite places in the UK. The castle is spectacular, and imposing, especially from the beach, and love the village. So small, but with so much History. Thanks again for a truly enjoyable, and informative, walk! Cheers!

I do enjoy your walks and all the of the researched history, I have been to most of the places but didn't know half of the facts, making these walks more entertaining while being informative.

My father and his sister were evacuated to live in the castle after their brother died in the bombing of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1942
