Simon Sinek, there is so many good things to say about him, but one in particular is your smart simple and truth striking way to deliver your message to younger generations. Where anyone else would burt about the subject, you keep it simple but informed enough to digest, and youre
absolutely right with what you said!

I love this comparison of relationships & kids. Although we love them and the bigger picture we shouldn't have the silly notion we will be happy 24 hours 365 days a year

This is so profound. Our society has become so impatient and intolerant of anything that brings discomfort or opposition to their views.

The thing is that the moments of joy or happiness are very brief. They are glimpses. By reminding ourselves of these little moments of joy that we are working towards, we will become joyful. And as far as relationships are concerned, I would say that it is important to have a great relationship with yourself first.

I think we can choose to experience joy each day. It comes in short bursts and sustains us - from experiences that create belonging or use our gifts to serve a greater purpose.

Thank you for sharing all your ideas with us, with the world. I am fascinated with everything you say, and trying to learn and understand how things really should be in order to work for us. I'm fascinated with everything you say not because I believe it is THE TRUTH, but because it is something I had never thought or read, or heard before. Therefore, you are giving me something to think about, and try. Thank you, a lot.

At Happy Everyday, Happy means focused and present because happy is too vaguely defined. Happy Today, Happy Everyday. Joy does come from within and from flipping a script or changing narrative(s) in head about circumstances. External pleasures that we say make us happy really just gives us pleasure briefly, not long lasting. Long lasting in our head health is staying aware and present and being an active creator in the narrative(s) of our situations. Efi, regularly a work in progress.

Joy... or joyfulness is a state of being - not an emotion. It is the absence of the dualistic swinging back and forth from happy/sad, glad/mad, powerful/weak. It is that in between place that is described in philosophy and religion. Seek that absence of duality - that "middle path".... there, you will find God. There, you will find true joy.

Although I think it is a great explanation and advise (spot on!), I wouldn't call that (0:31) happiness but gratification, which is something temporary that usually satisfies a need. Happiness, joy and fulfilment are really synonyms.

After a happy day we are like my life is awesome and next day something goes wrong then all our optimism goes away and to the next happy day we are lost in search of happiness

For success like happiness cannot be pursued, it must ensue. And it only does so as the unintended side effects of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than one's self.
