I reckon post scriptum did that weapon rack first. They have had that for years now and I really prefer it to the loadout selection or having to change factions and such.

I never really thought about all the features that Squad doesn't have. I think the lack of multi-zoom optics is a big one. I thinks its a no brainer that they should be added to the game

I recently played vanilla Squad and oh boy, I can confirm this game needs improving its arsenal etc. Usually I run and then suddenly get killed, then repeat again and again. I've never played Arma 3, so now I'd like to find a good video comparing these two games. Why I purchased Squad? I liked visuals related to detonations and explosions lol. Not sure if Arma 3 has similar visuals though...

2:02 the Tunguska (The AA the dude hopped into) has 2 Twin 2A38Ms so the tank only firing out of 2 barrels is innacurate
also the Stryker MGS should have thermals, and that includes thermals for the commander and driver

Something I’ve always thought would be cool for Squad is player creation…. Sort of like Hell Let Loose how you can edit your player face. Gear and uniforms should not be messed with, but it would be cool to at least do some creation with the face. Just a thought.

You can't just skip by "AND A FUCKIN TRACTOR" like it's not THE most important addition.

Squad is about standard army units and for the most part (at least in the US army) your average infantry brigade doesn't get NVGs...also how on earth would you balance an attack helicopter? You'd need a dedicated AA hunter killer team which already adds to the mirade of requirements the game places on 100 players on the larger combined arms maps. (Light armor, heavy armor, logistics, AT, infantry etc.)

Steel Dividion is something I've been excited for, I think mods keep Squad alive! Karmakuts Dynamic Direction is another great game changing mod and as I understand it unless I'm wrong Steel division gave Karma some access to stuff so he can have like fast rope as well, always AWESOME when mod makers work together!! Thanks Moidawg for featuring this!

Does SD change the ballistics in any way? Squad artificially lowers muzzle velocities and increases projectile gravity, which has bothered me for a long while now.
