Kra Canal route. If they've done it, this will be a new strategic in this region. I'm sure Thailand doesn't want to face any influence from any country. If they've taken side somebody will be grumpy like China, America or India. This mega project have been presented since ancient time, a few hundreds years ago, they never started it. This project will bring massive income but will also bring many problems.

Thank God Thailand leaders came to their senses, drop both projects. Had it gone ahead with the projects, it would have lost its Sovereignty to China. Thailand would not be able to meet ASEAN organization objectives i.e. to exercise independent judgement in the interest of South East Asian Countries.
