Thank you Fr. Mark for the inspirational story of Christ the King. We are celebrating 117 Vietnamese martyrs today, and we have a young Adre Phu Yen at the age of 19 beheaded. As blood spurted out of his throat, he called out the names of the Holy Family- Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. As Pope Francis declared the Jubilee year of teenagers, I am optimistic that we are turning the tide from the culture of darkness to light, from the culture of moral confusion to clarity, from the culture of promiscuity to chastity, from the culture of death to life. Viva Cristo Rey.
