Surgeon Generals WARNING About Parental Stress: Doctors Discuss #stressed

The US Surgeon General just released a statement about the state of parenthood in the United States. Parents are stressed!
We are reproductive psychiatrists, meaning we care for people (among others) who are pregnant, postpartum or are parents. We have seen the trend of stressed parents for years and we are so glad to see the Surgeon General making this statement.
In this video we discuss the reasons parents are stressed and how this may impact the wellbeing of children. We discuss why parental wellbeing is so important!
