Man sentenced to 20 years in federal prison in deadly 'swatting' case

Tyler Barriss pleaded guilty to making a prank phone call to authorities in Wichita, Kansas, that resulted in police shooting an innocent father on his front porch.

Dude deserves the rest of his life. That is insanely dangerous! It was bound to happen that somebody was killed. You lead them to a home where they assume the person is armed and insane! And already killed and is planning on doing more. I get we have way too many police killings but this is setting it up so the swat team is already on major high alert. Imagine you coming out of your home to swat ordering you out. That man had no idea that one small move would make them believe he was reaching for a weapon. Why would he? All bad ....

Now, forget this dude's name. Remember the lesson, but the name you should remember is Andrew Finch who didn't need to die and left behind his mother, kids, siblings, and for what? This is personal, I am a friend of the family, and to this day I am still angry that stupid people doing irresponsible and reckless things over trivial conflict are still breathing oxygen while Andy is not.
