If anyone followed the steps in the video and still can't get PHP 8 to run on WAMP, note the following not mentioned in this video:

- Wamp Version 3.2.3 is the only version that supports PHP 8.
- Right click on the Wamp icon in your tray, and select "About". Click on the "What's New" tab.
--- At the very top, you should see this information:
===> Changelog
===> Wampserver 3.2.3
===> Support for PHP 8
-- If you do not see these words, you do not have a compatible version of Wamp.
-- NOTE: Wamp actually states in their documentation that you can't really "upgrade". They recommend you basically go to their website and grab the latest version and reinstall. Annoying, for sure. If you need to upgrade your version of WAMP, I would recommend creating a new folder, much like you would do with different versions of PHP. Name it "wamp_3.2.3" (or whatever the latest version is, when you're reading this note in the future)

The other big thing to mention, when you Right-Click on the Wamp icon in your tray, you may have noticed that your interface is different that the one in the video. You can't just go to PHP > {version}, because that option, and that menu hierarchy has changed.
- Right Click the icon
- Select Tools > Change PHP CLI Version > {version}

Now, I'm personally stuck in a rut, because my PHP CLI Version SAYS 8.0, but my webserver front page still says PHP 7.3.
But with no luck.

I would recommend that the youtuber stop replying with "if you followed the steps, it should work"
because technology and software changes all the time. Things get updated and new steps need to be taken to fix issues that occur after documentation has been written.

I'll update this post if I find an fix for the CLI not updating and post it here.
EDIT: I found an "addon" install for PHP 8.0.7, that can only be installed on Wamp 3.2.5... which I can't find anywhere. Still no luck.
