Love my 16.0.2!  Had it for several years, and it gets used every day.  The StudioLive 16 looks like a perfect upgrade!  You got my attention.

Of course I just buy a 16.0.2 weeks before this comes out.. They should have a trade in or upgrade program. This thing looks amazing.

Presonus in my opinion is definitely taking over the hardware game.... the faderport 8, the AR Series and now this.... sheesh glad I'm slowly transitioning myself to use presonus products

Thinking about buying one of these. Want to use it mainly as a DAW control for Studio One. Does the mixer work as an audio interface for my computer?

Does it have an internal mic for talkback? For talking to artists etc in a studio/booth setting?
I'm tired of the feedback I get from external mics to talk to people in the booth. Thanks.

This looks awesome, but I just can't afford to keep buying new PreSonus consoles. It's getting to be like smartphones, you get a new one that has really cool features and by the time you walk out of the store you see someone that has the new model with even better features! I did this with the StudioLive 16.0.2, then got the StudioLive 16.4.2. It seems like right after I got my SL 16.4.2 the SL AI's were coming out. I've went through a few grand worth of consoles just for them to be outdated and discontinued... Grrr!!! I still love PreSonus gear though, and this one looks amazing!

Does it have 16 outputs?  Right now I am using a SL16.4.2AI along with a Allen and Heath ICE 16 solid state recorder. I take the hard drive into the house when I am done to mix.  Not an ideal setting, but it is what it is.  A little flash card stores the entire recording?

If you could make a Studio One DAW controller that looked like this, 16 faders, nice layout (and coloured oled screens not just select buttons matching track colour), remove the audio stuff and charge under £1000 for it, Studio One may finally get the controller it deserves! If you could harness a similar large touchscreen area to show the plug-ins in the DAW (not just presonus ones) that would be killer (obviously would need some new kind of video connection with S1 + some coding). Studio One is awesome, best DAW out there hands down, if you made the killer controller for it you'd clean up. Cubase 9 is a joke, ProTools is creaking like the dinosaur it is, logic is illogical and the rest are like toys or ugly/nerdy/bad workflow (Reaper). Studio One deserves better, like Pro Tools had (just not rip off prices like they had on hardware)

For now the single fader faderport still rocks for Studio one, too little utility on Faderport 8 makes it hard to make room for (Have had 8 motorised faders in the past with other daws and 16 is really needed or a single one will suffice - 24 is even better ala control24 but a bit smaller).

if you could update the FW for Original faderport so that it can use the pan knob like new faderport 8 (to control ANY knob/fader the mouse hovers over on a plug in!) that would be awesome. Another idea, a new single fader faderport with a 'one knob' like griffin powermate built in (for the above function of controlling anything the mouse points at) and also a single OLED screen (wide) with channel name reported to the faderport, plug in parmater on screen etc. I'd sell my current one and rebuy that for a bit more.

Anyway just some honest feedback, I may be the only one saying it but from speaking to people I'm far from the only one thinking it!
