We have configuration migration tool to do the exact thing...is there any advantage of using CSV ?

Are you saying you can update data without the row checksum column?
I am dealing directly with the tables and with other databases to do an update import I could grab one or two import ID's (and link to my CSV through common key)
But with dataverse you can't get row checksum from the tables\entities so I have to export a much bigger block of data and match, copy and paste....so time wasting
