Wow as someone who lives in Brisbane, Australia!! I didn't expect Auckland to look so modernized, looks like any major city over here!!

I work in the wynyard quarter, was funny to see you doing the walk I do every day to and from work. I never get sick of walking around the harbour and all the amazing boats.

Nice walk, you wouldn't believe how that area has changed in only 20 years. I was surprised to see so many people in the open air still wearing masks, was it recently? here in England it's rare now to see anyone wearing one. I see you went to Waiheke it's a fantastic place hard to believe it's only 45 mins by ferry from Auckland it's like another world, you picked a strange time to visit Auckland in the middle of winter though I have to say you were very lucky with the weather Crowded house have a song called 4 seasons in one day and yes they were singing about Auckland they even mention the dark clouds hanging over the Domain.

Mate... The heritage hotel is 5 minutes walking distance from home. At least the sun's out, so a good day to explore the city.
