So many things happening in one video.

Different interpretation of "NALULUNOD NA AKO"

Badjao sitting there while they're old songs are playing in the old tv.

Them being drowned in the shadow of the past. Badjao sitting there just playing with his drumstick. Just being quiet. But then the songs playing in the background are also changing. Form the orange to red era mvs. Which means even with the constant comaparison, and then being just quiet about it. They just keeps on playing. Continueing.

Blaster in the middle of the crowd.

Drowning in the sea of people. This can be about the fans, the haters, the bashers, The listeners.

Different comments, different say, different words from each of this people. But then just like badj, he keeps on playing. Showing that no matter what everyone says, the show must go on. And he will just continue to play.

Zikd drowning in the four corner of that Small aquarium.

If you think about it, it's not that deep. You can't drown unless you lay down. Which what he did that's why he keeps on drowning.

It can be his own thoughts. Your own mind. Your own demon.

That small aquarium is the representation if himself. His battle against his persinal struggles. You can see him sitting up but still locked up on that small aquarium. Until he decided to get out.

Battling your own demon is hard. no hands can be seen helping him because in the end of the day, it's you who can save your self.

Which he eventually did, by showing him outside of the aquarium, looking at it.


And then the scene where in the flag which represents the new era was down and them in the middle of it.

The people runs towards them.

Which for me represent that they survived drowning, and continue to play music.

And the people, which represents their fans, are gathered around them.

Representation of how they acknowledge the love and support of their fans is one of the reasons the are still playing.

Everyone says that we should appreciate Zild, Badjao and Blaster. We get the point. This band is PHENOMENAL, but can we appreciate Two Fold Media for their MVs? I mean, yung MVs ng IVOS pang-international level eh, tapos sasabihin ng iba satin, unti-unti nang nagfafade yung OPM, well we still have these group of guys along with their incredible producers, and others out there, playing with passion and commitment to sustain the status of the OPM genre.

My thoughts about "Ang Pinagmulan" MV

1. Each objects had symbolisms. Couch for IMP, old table with lamp was from Hey B!, old tv w/ Zild on it was from WHYBMD, and the red curtain from ClapClapClap!
2. Badjao was sitting right there on a couch, watching everything on an old tv. All those previous vid from the past, everything happened in the band for the past 5 years. Badjao saw it all, if you all know, after the main vocalist left, Zild had a second thought to disband.
BUT, because Badjao was there, he was the main reason and became the backbone of Zild and Ter to continue @IVOFSPADES, he motivate the two na ituloy na lang. But again, of course it will not be easy. There's a big responsibilty to continue, they lost their identity
I heard from their prev. interview that being in a retro/disco thing was their main identity during that time nung nandun pa sa 'U', and most of the songs were created na babagay sa boses ng vocalist.

And there's no other option to move forward and find their true indentity.

And because there's no other person who can take a lead of the band, Zild step up. But it's not easy to continue on something na magiging kakaiba dun sa identity na nakamulatan ng mga tao.
They don't have a choice but to jump unto the water, to jump into something scary and to jump sa bagay na walang kasiguraduhan kung susuportahan pa ba sila. It is a transition of old era to new era. New era = new identity as a band. Bagay na maituturing na "sila".

You'll see on the vid na nasira yung mga symbolism which mean it is done. It's time to accept the new @IVOFSPADES or should I say their true self, their new identity, that they're no longer holding back for who they are as a band and as an individual. No one could put them on a box.

The new flag and logo came as well which only means that they become more confident and free to do what they want as an artist.

Overall: Ang Pinagmulan means Ang Pinagmulan ng totoong @IVOFSPADES, old era was just their time to explore themselves and searched about their craft. But the true @IVOFSPADES is the era today. They found it, and they're living it now.

eto yung pagkakaintindi ko sa mv:

yung kay zild na nalulunod sya, symbolizes the challenges that he will face and the struggles after unique left the band, na sya na ang magiging bagong front man ng IVOS, yung mga times na hirap na hirap pa sya mag adjust as the band's front man.

yung kay blaster na napapaligiran sya ng tao is the people's attention on the band. and remember nung mga gigs nila si blaster yung palaging nakukunan ng attention ng mga tao dahil nga gwapo sya in the first place tsaka yung skills nya when it comes to guitar.

yung kay badjao, yung parang flashback ng both red tsaka orange era na pinagsama into one scene. tsaka nirerepresent din sa scene na yun yung pagiging silent type ni badjao sa banda pero siya yung parang building block ng music nila kasi when it comes to retro, disco and funky music, yung drums talaga yung nagdadala ng groove hehe

don't sue me plez, it's just my opinion naman hehe.

add: the last scene of the mv symbolizes the renewed IVOS. yung lahat ng members ay nag bloom in their own ways, na silang lahat ay na nonotice na ng tao by their different styles and roles in the band. for example yung kay badjao, pagkatapos nung sumali sya sa vocals ng I Ain't Perfect, mas na aapreciate na ng tao yung artistry ni badjao at saka kay blaster din yung sa CIOMH. yun lang hehe

for the new era's curtains, just shows that nag evolve talaga silang lahat. their new album will be a remarkable one! ❤♠

Love IVOS. Hate the “fans”. Puro kayo “dapat ganito OPM.” Everyone is entitled to what they want. IVOS is really good for me. I listen to other genres too. At wag na wag mong sasabihin na “ang sarap ipagdamot” dahil hindi mo pagmamayari yung bandang ito, and they are out there spreading their message through songs.

Unfortunately, they aren’t
the ones shaping opm anymore, other bands singing “sad” “romantic” “iniwan” songs are the more mainstream tracks. Unlike their hit mundo, which was explosive because it incorporated a kilig theme whenever it was being played, it paved way for other artists, honestly. Ben&Ben still reigns supreme. But ivos, pre-unique and post-unique will still be one of the bands na gusto mong ipgdamot kahit kanino.
