My mom is hands-down the best audience for my magic tricks. She’s seen them all, from card trick a to card trick z but her reactions are as if she’s witnessing real wizardry every single time. I love performing for an audience that's a bit older than me, like high schoolers, because they are active and attentive. When something unexpected happens during a trick, they are genuinely surprised. I also appreciate the recognition for performing something mind-blowing while being younger than the rest. I began magic after watching you. I usually practice on my brother, and preform for my friends in school or on family. I also preform for guests that come to our house. Their reactions are usually one's you see on stages, asking me to learn the tricks themselves. although, a few tricks have been found out by them, as I am still learning sleight of hand skills.

My favourite audience is actually a friend that also knows card tricks. So we test each others skills every weekend and try to guess what trick the other person used but if someone cannot figure it then the other doesn't reveal it. And this how we push our limits. Sometimes we tried doing a trick that requires two "magicians" and it was amazing. Having another someone who knows exactly what you are thinking when doing the trick is such an awesome feeling .

This is a great trick CM! There are a few choices for me when it comes to performing and they are my favorite. Number 1, my parents obviously. Always encouraging me to keep going and loving all of my effects. The second would have to be college students. I didn’t think I would ever perform for them and enjoy it. I can thank my top audience member (along with my parents) for this as I also get paid for performing from my third audience member. It is the Director of Campus Life (Events) at the community college I graduated from. She was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago so it is fun to stop in at college and even her house and just perform a couple of hours. I even teach her some tricks and it is great. She forgets about all her problems and I get to teach and perform. It’s great! She is probably my favorite audience (besides my parents and also my counselor. I teach him two tricks almost every month). Thank you once again for this! Congrats to the winner and early congrats for hitting 100K CM!

Started doing magic 35 years ago back in high school. Just did random stuff here and there to pick up girls. Got married; didn’t need it anymore and wife was rarely impressed anyway. Recently found your channel and started doing card tricks again for her. After almost 28 years of marriage, she’s still my favorite person.

As for performance, the 10 year old gets the most excitement out of it. She LOVES a good trick, or any trick for that matter. It is the wonder in their eyes. The kind of wonder you try hard to impress upon the adults!
