Open D Is the BEST Alternate Guitar Tuning | Tutorial & Demo

In this video, I show off my favorite alternate guitar tuning, Open D. The strings are tuned to D A D Fsharp A D. I learned this tuning many years ago at a guitar camp lesson and I revisit it frequently. It's a great way to break out of the box and apply your guitar knowledge in a different configuration.
