Показать описание
Peplink has released a 5G version of their newly launched B One series - featuring 2x Ethernet WAN, USB Tethering, Wi-Fi as WAN, Wi-Fi 6 and 4x Ethernet LAN.

It's a lot of value at just $599 - especially compared to their MAX BR1 5G at $999.

It's a great complement to bring together an RV or boat mobile internet arsenal that might feature options like Starlink, T-Mobile Home Internet, Mobile Hotspots and campground Wi-Fi.

This is a fantastic addition and the Embedded 5G + 2WAN at this price point is an exciting opportunity

Besides lacking temperature protection, do you have any additional concerns with using this in a campervan/class b? Will excess road vibration have an impact on the internals? (in other words, besides the heat sink, does the BR1 Pro 5g have any other internal vibration protection/shock mounting etc, that this one omits?)

I am looking to replace my T-Mobile Home Internet setup in my Class B, with the change to Away plan coming.

Does it need an Speedfusion cloud subscription to properly work? I.e. the bonding, load balancing, etc are only available if you purchase a speedfusion monthly service? how much is that subscription? Thanks.

Does anyone know the cpu speed and number of cores, flash and ram for this router? I can't seem to find that info anywhere.

What a great sounding unit.
If I get this to replace my old BR1 that ran a 2x2 mimo either omni or directional (i swapped them when needed) could I hook both the 2x2 omni and 2x2 directional at the same time and get the best of both worlds?

Thanks again, you just gained a sub :)

It seems that the primecare sub is $99/yr. The Balance 20x was only $49/yr. So 5 year outlay for this device is about $1000 plus tax vs about $650 for the B20x. Seeing as the B-one 5G replaced the B20x, they effectively raised the price by 50% while also removing features (GPS, expandable modules etc). Sure, the 5G modem might be faster (depends on a lot of factors) but functionally, if you need a router for a wired primary and a cellular backup connection (of whatever speed), this is more expensive.

I have visible. Can I add a line and place the sim card in this PEP device to receive unlimited data through it? If so, I'd like to connect the PEP to a cellular directional antenna to make our home internet speed useable for multiple people to stream in the house at the same time. Right now our cable internet is too slow at around 5 to 10 mbps depending on the time of day.

Since this is a mobile router it really needs to have cellular sim support.

They need to tether iPhone… that’s a show stopper for me.
