Thank you so much for showing us the levels! I am a rhythmic gymnast from Europe and where I live the levels are very different! I would write them down here but I hardly understand them 😅

didn’t realize this 😅 as a rhythmic gymnast from the UK, we started at level 1 or zero and if you were in four or five you were really good! ( it does go higher than that but the best girls at my gym i think we’re level five and they were sooo good! )

I start a level five because I did dance from four. I started level five at my new dance studio.

I used to do aesthetic group gymnastics, which is popular in Nordic countries, for 6 years. In Estonia (and other countries competing AGG) we have A and B group. A means more complicated program and B less complicated. B groups can't turn into A group, but gymnasts can be transferred to A groups, if they are showing good results. AGG gymnasts rarely compete individualy (in rhythmic gymnastics) because AGG is a very complicated sport by itself and gymnasts don't have enough time for individual programs. All groups are valikrühmad, means you get transferred from non-comtepeting groups to AGG groups. We also have age groups:
Miniklass (8-10)
Lasteklass (10-12)
Noorteklass (12-14)
Juuniorklass (14-16)
Seniorklass (16-18)

After Seniorklass there is Meistriklass, but only few groups live till this level :)

Coach “So did you did any sports before”
Me takes deep breath “I did gymnastics for 5 years. Have done synchronized skating and ice shows for over a year. I have done a season of cheer.”

Okay it's very different from here in Spain. The thing is the levels are different in different parts of Spain but here in Catalunya it goes like this:

*B1* (free hands)
*B2* (free hands)
*A1* (1 apparatus)
*A2* (1 apparatus)
*Open level* (1 apparatus)
*Catalan cup 4* (1 apparatus + optional open level with different apparatus)
*Catalan cup 5* (1 apparatus + same as level Catalan cup 4)
*Catalan cup 6* (1 apparatus + optional open)
*Base* (federated level with chance of going to National championship *the level I'm in*)
*Absolutely level* (all aparatus, highest level)
National team (same as everywhere else)

Even if it starts at lvl 3, I’d somehow end up in level 1 😆 I don’t care if it’s humanly possible or not, LEVEL 1 is my level for life lol

Uh so I guess it's like how in dance there is levels? I don't think it's as common in the US, but in my country, we have pre-grades 1, 2, and 3, then it goes to level 1, level 2, level 3, SLS (Stretch, Leap, Spin), then level 4, level 5, Pre Elementary, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced 1, and Advanced 2, then Solo Seal or Soloist Diploma depending on what your studio calls it.
I started at Pre-grade 3, then went through all levels except Advanced 1.
