Good demo. It's 25 years since I did JJ, but I recall that some hairy bears wouldn't just let you break the full nelson just by bringing your elbows down and so you either needed a good atemi, or you could reach back and bend their little finger the wrong way. Do modern clubs still teach atemi and 'weakeners' to students?

Minor correction but the throw is properly called sukui nage not suki.
