I love that this gives the band a chance to shine. No fancy foot work, not spot light on the singer, all about the band and their solos.
They deserve it for all their immaculate skill.

Recordings of the live shows don't do them justice.
They bring along a very good and very loud sound system, and the crowd makes a ton of noise, which the band plays around.

I like how the lights would occasionally come on and the crowd just looked around for a second like “Oh yeah, we’re all a bunch of sweaty electro swing enthusiasts crowded together in this room. Huh.” and then continued grooving. Apparently we know what we like.

Caravan Palace es música de otro nivel. Una mezcla de retro, electro... una cosa única y por eso mismo FABULOSA no dejen de hacer lo que hacen. Musica de un nivel excelente. El mundo es mejor con Bandas como Caravan Palace.

The next release by Caravan Palace should be a Blu-Ray disc of their concert tours.
Like the best bands of all time, they are best experienced live, and their recordings don't do them justice.

One of my all time favorite shows was when I saw these guys live here in Seattle at Neumos a few years back. The energy and the chemistry between the band and the audience was absolutely fantastic.

My first time hearing them! A friend sent me this link and said that it would make me smile. Oh yeah! And who knew that Liza Minelli Jr. sang in a band? She's got just the right voice for this style. Now what they need to do is pack up and come to Portland, Ore 'cuz we need them to help us keep it weird!
