I decided to attempt looking at the stances of each of the characters. I started with Sora, of course 😊 the video should be linked to this one

I love Riku’s stance because it’s lures you into thinking he’s open but he’s really setting up the counterattack. Once he mixes in his dark barrier it’s hard to read what’s next.

One theory I have is that the wielders are instinctively protecting their keyblades, as they are manifestations of their bonds/connections.

Ventus's backhanded keyblades are super sick. Not super practical, probably, but cool

Sora’s neutral stance makes sense especially when taking his KH1 guard into account. He would bring the weapon up diagonally quite directly to guard against attacks.

Ventus backwards stance was always so cool to me even if it has no logical applications

l love how you can tell exactly the personality of each organization member just by the way they hold their weapons. Of course the design and the weapons itself help on that, but still, it's quite amazing. I think you should do a follow up talking about this, it's a very cool concept

I appreciate Sora's stance a lot more than most people do. It's literally the embodiment of experience and survival being some of the best teachers for a warrior.

I will always love Roxas when he dual-wields Oathkeeper and Oblivion. Small hops to keep his energy up, knees bent like Sora, and is able to attack or defend with either or both Keyblades at all times. 🔑🗝️

something i also really like is in KH1, Sora's battle run stance with the keyblade is him resting it on his shoulder, while in future game he's more "professional" and also holds the keyblade with both hands pointing forward while running with it in battle

One thing I liked about Sora's design is a lot of people will use their Keyblade like a actual blade.
He more seems to swing it around like a club. Which again, is fitting for a kid with no actual training and just grew up swinging a stick at his friends.

Rikus stance gas always exuded confidence.

Come to think of it, I REALLY love Axel's stance because it's basically muscle memory from using his chakrams in addition to the keyblade being somewhat designed after them. It's not exactly practical, but at least it works for him.

My favorite Keyblade stands are Ventus' and Aqua's
1) Aqua's is how I picture a master of the blade and magic would stand. Like your right hand be used to take your opponent off guard with strong but gentle attacks, kind of like fencing. And your left hand is free to cast spells in a mist of combat. This would allow you to keep your opponent guessing and use magic to stay a step ahead of their opponents.

2) Ventus's Style is similar to Auqa's in my opinion but a lot more wild and unpredictable, and it requires more awareness of your surroundings and your balance. Also, Ven's style looks more like how an Acrobatics would use if they could master their spinning and jumping attacks.

Roxas Dual Wield stance is once of my personal favorites. It just feels powerful, especially when playing as dual-wielding Roxas in 358.

Ventus holding it backwards looks so cool

Definitely Roxas would be my favorite. Given that he has ties to Samurai Nobodies it was definitely intentional his stance was a nod to Miyamoto Musashi who developed the Niten Ichiryu style that encourages the use of fighting w a sword in each hand

I think the stances tell something about their personality if i'm not mistaken. I don't have any examples, but i'm pretty sure i heard that somewhere.

My favorite stands is Riku I always love how he points his weapon almost over his head towards the enemy and would a free hand

I love Terra’s because it just exudes power. His whole vibe to me when I first played BBS was just power. That’s why he quickly became my favorite of the Wayfinder Trio
