Weetman refers a lot to how he was brought up being a priority over his critical thinking/finding solutions to problems.
If an endo or GP was brought up to believe in God (I suspect there are many out there), it's frightening to think how much their negative narratives affect their problem solving abilities.

The one thing that struck me the most from this debate, is that not a single person changed their mind one way or the other. It shows how stuck everyone is on their believes and how little healthy discussion is possible.

Very informative but annoying vid. Thanks.
80% against at the start was alarming - nearly stopped me watching on - thinking "what's the point" but I soldiered on.

Weetman actually states in the rebuttal that T3 SHOULD given but that the delivery method isn't yet available/been invented so therefore - do nothing or as he was "brought up to BELIEVE" etc etc.

What's to stop US (pity those who are unable to figure things out for themselves) deciding on dosages according to how we feel at various times of the day - anohter of Weetman's arguments against. Enfuriating - and bravo that Scottish gent who points that very fact out.

When Dayan identifies issues with Weetman's argument - his defence is that he feels attacked by the "Jesuite".

I'll put money on Weetman's been brought up to BELIEVE in a whole range of things!

Weetman's argument breaks down completely away from, "shouldn't prescribe" to, "should in some cases but can't because of - politics, cost, delivery method / therefore shouldn't"
Astonished that not 1 person changed their mind. I can't see how many 20% is but sounds like quite a few banging their heads against brick walls - along with 1000's of us 'out here'
