OSRS - Perilous Moons Guide (Zero Supplies)

Varlamore has been released into Oldschool Runescape, and with it the Perilous Moons! This guide will show you how to complete the Perilous Moons (Blood moon, Blue Moon, Eclipse Moon) without using any supplies of your own with low level gear! Hope the guide helps!

One thing to note:
Blue boss - weak to crush
Yellow boss - weak to stab
Red boss - weak to slash
If you're colourblind - guess

Small tip for the blue moon: if your run gets turned off by one of the swirls, just hold the control key and continue to click where you want to go. This will make your character run even if run is turned off, and if you get hit by more swirls, you don't have to worry about turning your run energy back on constantly.

A bit of a cheese for the Eclipse is that the "Parry" special attack has a set attack speed.

Meaning if you equip a BGS or another super slow massive str bonus 2h weapon, every parry will hit for a TON of damage.

Another tip to avoid the blood jaguar & pool damage:
Turn the sound effects to MAX volume, and as soon you hear the chime end, click back and forth 😊

Guide definitely helped me get started and after getting the hang of it with a few kills I think this might be the best piece of mid-game pvm in the game. Builds up skills that’ll be used in endgame content with a near nonexistent barrier to entry

For blood moon, having sounds on makes the jaguar step back easier. There's a pretty good sound cue for when to step back and you can get the hang of it in just a few kills.

Something mammal didn't mention for the eclipse moon:

If you have a weapon which gets a power boost from something when calculating damage (I.e. dharoks set effect), or have a multi hit weapon (D/C Halberd Spec, Dragon Claws, Scythe), you can actually skip the shadow clones that the eclipse boss makes as the phase normally doesn't allow you to let it go under 1 hp.

However, if it has above 1 health, you can sort of "overkill" it, skipping the phase entirely and moving on to the next boss much faster !

An example would be it having 40 health left and you use the Crystal Halberd special to hit it twice, dealing a total of 60 damage, it'll overkill it and you can just run on to the blood or blue moon boss !

Small tip for the eclipse boss when you have to walk behind the shield mark the tile of each corner so you can see it easier and to know when to turn your camera
