My best friend was the healthiest person I knew. Didn’t smoke, didn’t drink, no drugs, healthy diet, lots of exercise, great sleeping habits… picture perfect good health. Then we was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Doctors told him he was “the healthiest sick person” they had ever treated. A year and a half later, he was dead.
I still remember the last late-night drive we took. We had done it a thousand times before he was sick. We must have put 70, 000 miles on the cars with no planned destinations. Thousands of songs that made us say “omg you have to hear this!!” I remember the night we sat in a dark parking lot of a Dollar General in the middle of nowhere. I showed him the “Chubacca Mask Lady” video. I had never seen him laugh like that. We watched it over and over, tears streaming down his cheeks while I gasped for air.
Life isn’t fair, and neither is death. Love them the best you can for as long as you can.

He looks and *seems* like a 25 yr old kid. I feel such a sadness & can’t even wrap my head around his being gone. Doesn’t seem real. A seriously good guitar player & beautiful singer as well. I met taylor few years back when Dave Grohl and his family had a beach house cross street from ours. He instantly took to our 3 German shepherds who took to taylor on the beach. Talked to him briefly he commented on oyr dogs and house and said he was waiting for dave to show up at daves beachhouse so i got him a Corona hungbout for a bit and i swear i never got star struck but instead felt i had an incounter with a beautiful human being👍. My wife on the other hand was slightly star struck lol😂. We miss you dave since you sold your beach house, neighborhood isn't the same. RIP Taylor, so grateful i got to hang out with you for a moment in time😊. Just way too young😢
