I was a senior designer on the B2. Just about every design Improvement I wished for is on this aircraft. So glad that all we learned was put to such good use. I have very high hopes for this system.

Back in '72 there was a B-52 that low leveled (I recall 300') our Class A fireworks plant in Oklahoma just as my Dad was testing a 5" Ball shell. He lit the fuse, then popping over the horizon (the sound was insane) here it comes! The shell shoots up, the B-52 reacts (didn't really have anywhere to go) she'll goes off about 400 feet in front of it's nose and it center punched the star pattern. It flew off. What was bizarre was that no one from the airbase contacted him. They just stopped the low levels.
Our plant was used for practice targeting between '70-'72 because it looks like a VC village from the air and was way out in the country. Nothing like being elbow deep in gun powder with an 8" Ball shell in your hands and an F-4 goes zipping by at 1, 200'! Ha! No wonder I evolved into an adrenaline junkie.
Keep the awesome videos inbound Sir!

It’s mind boggling to me that the B-52 is still relevant and being upgraded. I was in middle school when my dad was stationed at KI Sawyer where they flew them. I remember reading “Flight of the Old Dog” at the time about a highly upgraded B52 taking out a Soviet laser system. Twenty plus years later we are still upgrading B-52s. Amazing

Hey, Ryan…this is the first video I’ve watched on your channel. I can’t recall how many videos I’ve seen on the B-21, however your delivery is what sets you apart, most other channel creators just rattled off the stats, whilst showing different pictures/videos. Brilliant analysis and delivery, liked and subbed.

So Maverick doesn't have to do the 10-g run up the mountainside now, cool. When the B-2 was unveiled to the public, "Beetlejuice" and "Die Hard" were on the big screen, so I'd say it's high time for Version 2.0. Hell I'm just glad the F-22 got a balloon kill in before it's retired.

I know I'm a little late but.. I live right off, and to the left of the end of the runway here at Ellsworth AFB. I get to watch B1s take off nearly every day while they are doing touchN'goes. Sometimes they even start making runs as late as midnight and I usually go outside to watch them fly overhead with afterburners (Maybe not afterburners but there is a pretty obvious 20ft blue cone behind each of the 4 engines) I wouldn't have it any other way and I'm excited to see some B21s.

Think of a B-21 flying circles overhead at night while a lower flying F-35 uses it's infrared detectors to identify targets and send the information to the B-21 so it can release a bomb on it.

When I was in a P-3 squadron we once flew 17 hours non-stop from Hawaii to Chicago.

This dude is funny. Very intelligent but I think it's his mustache and the look in his eyes. If he stared at me at the bar while buying drinks I wouldn't be able to hold back. Who ever laughs first buys the next round. Very good communications. Very positive. Always smiles. Awesome!

I'm gonna bet right now that NGAD gets cut halfway through its production run and we end up flying just F35's and a bunch of upgraded 4th gen's

Explained very well enjoyable to watch. I have single engine land class license from 30 years ago so I haven’t kept up with the technical stuff. Thanks for braking it down.

From ’84 to ’86 I was stationed at a SAC base in AR called (at the time) Blytheville AFB. Shortly before I separated from AF the name was changed to Eaker. Anyway…my lab was right on the flight line. I got to see BUFFs and KC-135s and MITOs on a fairly regular basis. Years later…as a civilian working for the AF at Edwards I got to see the B-2 flying around. In between, I got to see the machines that helped build the B-1B shipped off to….uh…China. No kidding. I saw them on the shipping dock shortly before they left our facility.
