Great acting from Sigourney Weaver even before she opens the fridge. She can’t believe what she’s seeing on the counter and gives that frightened hop, holding her hands in front of her face. She really looks like a woman who thinks she’s losing it.

I love the sound effects used for the dog saying "Zuul", even better that it was director Ivan Reitman doing the voice.

Making those eggs pop out of their shells and cook on the counter was a complicated effect to make but it all turned out great.

This, and the first scene in the Library at the start of the movie, are by FAR, the scariest scenes in the film, because you CAN"T see what's moving things, scattering cards or making the eggs when your eyes can't see it, then your imagination starts creating the scariest monsters that no creature effects or makeup artist can create, and that's what makes these scenes so great in film and are the most memorable.

and anyone notice the light bulb inside the Terror dog's mouth when it says ZUUL ?
