I did this to my sks years ago. But it wasnt as fun. So i put it back in the wooden stock. Something about loading it with stripper clips makes it more fun for me

I always love people complaining about other people modifying SKSs and saying they’re ruining them. Like “no! Don’t ruin that 2002 Honda civic by putting rims and new lights on it!” Just because something isn’t made anymore, doesn’t necessarily make it rare or even good. Lol

To “bubba” a weapon is to do some redneck type mutilation to your weapon to make it cursed. Famously, SKSs have had their firing pins and disconnectors illegally modified to become open-bolt weapons that will fire in full-auto regardless of if the trigger is held down or not.

This is just a modernized and more practical SKS design that has made appearances in games like MW 2019, Battlefield 3, and battlefield 4. It was an absolute beast in BF3, btw, Yugoslavia would be proud.

I too have "bubbud" my SKS with a aftermarket stock. my mindset was living in NY, why get a neutered rifle that i need to modify for a top load when you have the sks which was designed for stripper clips, holds 10rnds from factory. and since this weapon of war has wood on it, its looked at like a hunting rifle. what a stupid state i am in.

One man's Bubba is another man's custom.People act like these guns are rare and expensive..they were practically giving these rifles away in the early 90s. Wooden stock/fixed mags are boring
