I'm writing this not in the expectation that anyone reads it, nor that it means anything to them, but more as an outlet for my emotions. My late partner bought this record for me shortly after we met in 1981 - I remember thinking that the gesture was a bit cheesy, but very sweet nonetheless. As it turned out, we were together for 25 years until he passed away in 2006. It's now 17 years later and tomorrow is the anniversary of his passing. The pain I felt in 2006 is still as fresh, and I miss him every single day. Music is such a trigger of memories - it takes my breath away.
