To me that's the only problem with the game... Killing the lynel that give you that weapon was harder then killing the Final boss... that's the only think that disappoint me. Let's hope that the hard mode will change that

By testing on a red maned lynel I found out that 3 attack up buffs is the max, they don't stack with clothes and then the food (6 attack ups), so the max is around x1.5 stronger than the initial attack damage on the weapon. However, with the ancient armor enhancement effect(Ancient proficiency) makes ancient weapons do around x1.8 more damage with only the armor effect and the food/elixir buffing stacks as well making the weapons do a shit ton of damage. It's not tested out fully though so I don't know all the specifics but the ancient shortsword you can buy did 108 points of damage with this setup. That would mean it did x2.7 more damage (which I thought was supposed to be x2.3), didn't dwell on it so I'm not sure where it comes from. The best ancient axe initially does 60 damage, by adding 2.7 times more damage it's 162 points of damage which would already be more than this lynel crusher does with 3 attack ups(x1.5), since they don't stack over 3. So if you were to be lucky and dropping an ancient axe ++ with an attack up effect of +28 which is probably the max it would be 88 damage, then by multiplying that with x2.7 is about 240 points of damage.

For all asking why Gannon's health was cut in half, it's because the four divine beast's power does half of his health

You don't need strength potions if you already have the +3 bonus from the armor, it doesn't stack up. As far as i know the +3 strength bonus gives +50% damage bonus which is pretty nasty with lynel weapons. With that club it would be 159 damage per hit. However, there could be better combinations. The ancient armor set bonus grants an 80% attack bonus with ancient weapons and you still can get the standard 50% attack bonus with food and potions. While this makes about 149 damage with the ancient bladesaw and 162 with a standard ancient battle axe ++. The next question is if Ganon has a weakness against ancient weapons like the guardians do. I suppose so, as he uses guardian weapons and ancient arrows shot with the ancient bow seem to deal huge amounts of damage, but i'm not sure with that. If he does, that makes 222 damage for the bladesaw and 243 for the battle axe ++ that can still get the golden power boost, but i don't know the stats from that weapon. I'm not sure if these stats really are correct, though, as i deal more damage with the bladesaw than with the battle axe ++. The level 4 ancient armor also has the highest defense power in the game and as ganon uses ancient attacks he can't really harm you at all. The ancient shield is also really nice as it reflects the laser beams without perfect parrying.

With all four divine beasts, all shrines, some potions and all guardian equipment this fight is really easy for everybody, but that's OK. I mean, you do tons of things just to prepare for that battle, it's supposed to be easy. When i first challenged him i had level 2 plate armour, the master sword, the hylian shield, 13 hearts, just a little food and no idea how he would attack and the battle was extremely hard for me. I only survived because i ate all of my cooking ingredients and the battle took long enough so i could use Miphas grace twice. It even took me five tries to beat boar ganon as my badly trained horse kept ignoring my commands and i didn't know that i could jump from the saddle. If you are just a casual gamer it is totally OK, come prepared and you can win. If you want a hard battle it is also OK, you can simply walk into Hyrule Castle the Goron way. It's all up to you and that makes the game so great.

Better idea. Fully upgraded ancient armour for ancient proficiency + a 75 ( I think ) damage ancient battle axe. This is the strongest ( I believe ) ancient battle axe plus the ancient proficiency for 80% + damage. Drink a level 3 damage up potion or meal for the extra damage. Then you through it at Ganon ( making sure you have multiple ) for multiple hits of 2 ( 75 + 80% of 75 + level 3 damage elixir? Meal ).
Ps: I may have gotten the damage number slightly wrong or extremely wrong, however I know that this combination gives the most damage possible.
