Just Cerave does contain Vitamin E in the form of tocopheryl acetate. We learned a great deal in Pharmacy school about Vitamin E (tocopherols) and it's ability to treat cancer. Interesting stuff.

Just bought this because of your review! I was using the PCA vitamin C & E but holy cow it was over $100. Since Corona I need to be saving money. Hoping this works out for me! Thank you for the video!!!

I’m enjoying the Cerave Vitamin C right now just because of the moisturizing vehicle and wanted more ceramides in my morning routine. It does have vitamin e in there but the acetate version. Thanks for the review!!! I’ve enjoyed the Drmtlgy one too but a little too $$$

Love the Timeless Skincare 20% C + E + Ferulic Acid serum. Lots of good ingredients, and at $25.96 for 1 oz. it's a bargain. I use their CoQ10 serum as well.

I use this serum and it started to turn an orange color! I definitely recommend putting it in the refrigerator.

i use this serum and yes, it does oxidise a little when you first open it each time you use it. DO NOT THROW IT AWAY IMMEDIATELY. squeeze some of the serum out if its a little orange, then it will become a lighter, white color. then you can use it. this is because the top of the serum gets exposed to air first, so it oxidises a little. so squeeze some out when you first use it.

I use the cerave vitamin C every morning, I really like it because it’s hydrating while also giving me the brightening affect of vitamin C. I have noticed my acne scars fading, but the formula is not irritating. :)

Angie from Hot and Flashy said that this is virtually useless. Because its a water based formula, it needs to be pH 3-4 and this one is measured here around pH 6. LOreals Vitamin C is waterless, so it's a better bet.

So far, I love the Cerave vit C..I have not tried the Drmtlgy one, but I am finding that all the other serum brands I have tried leave me feeling sticky..I will look at your Drmtlogy review and see if that product leaves a sticky feeling..thanks for the review

I don’t like Cerave in general, so I wouldn’t buy its Vitamin C. I am now using the Timeless 20% with Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E and I got it for $20.00 with a code. I also love that it comes in an airless pump container. You can also buy Dr. Brenner’s Vitamin C 20% with Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E for $20.00. I heard it even comes with a sample of SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic. So you can do a lot better at that price than Cerave.
Also, thank you so much for the ‘drop.’ It made my day! ❤️❤️

What is your favorite beginner vitamin c for people with sensitive, acne prone skin

What other vitamin c serums do you recommend for oily combination? 😊

Why is everyone so concerned about the Cerave one turning a tiny bit orange? Cerave literally states that the packaging is formulated to prevent oxidisation although if there is oxidisation it DOES NOT affect the product or it’s outcomes or usage. It’s quite literally a colour change that’s it.

Soooo I have come to realize that Vit C in L-ascorbic acid form its too much for my sensitive skin...I used a couple of bottles of the Timeless Vit C and it would burn more times than not. So I have now taken it down a notch and started using a product with Sodium Ascorbyl Phosophate and my skin is waaayyyy happier.

Maybe I'm wrong but at 12min11 you said that Cerave doesn't contain vitamine E but there is tocopheryl acetate in the ingredient list so there is vitamine E in the Cerave serum. Maybe the formulation has change since you reviewed it but I didn't heard about reformulation.

Abbey please try the timeless vitamin C Serum. You will love it!

I've been testing this cerave vit c and I feel like I'm not really seeing results from it, maybe it is because it is without the vit e and ferulic acid.
How many months would you say a vitamin C is good for? I know that we should look out for oxidation but like would you say 3 months ish is still good? (asking because I could save money if I buy 2 vit c in a sale)

Hello Abbey, I have been started following your videos recently to gain in-depth knowledge about skincare. I will start fresh with my skincare regimen since I am in my 30s. I know Vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant. However, due to its unstable nature and the price points in some good reliable brands like SkinCeuticals, I am not entirely leaning towards it. FYI, I am a breastfeeding mom, so I can't include retinoids in my routine. But I want to incorporate some antioxidants in my routine. Are q10, niacinamide sufficient enough as antioxidants? Would you please enlighten me with your knowledge?

I love CeraVe but with this product, they left the pH too high at 6. For best results vit C should be at pH of 3
