I have 15% basques my grandfathers mother was a Frenchwoman from basque. Her family was from all the way back when basque belonged to France.

She was a 4’10ish small minion woman.

For the longest time my dad thought he had Native American ancestry in addition to European. Nope, basque! I guess we can still consider that “indigenous”, just not to America lol.
