It's so frustrating seeing so many people try to justify their hate with religion. Like essentially what Jesus said (and did) was to take care of those that are shunned by privileged people because of their gender, origin, social status, disease, job, etc., like they're being literally the people that Jesus was advocating against!! Blows my mind that it's so widespread too.

The first requirement to being a bigot is a total lack of self awareness and the tendency to respond to fear with fight response represented by anger. Personal attacks are actually a fear response.
