Fractals of the Universe

preview_player
Показать описание
From the scale of atoms to galaxies, the universe appears to follow a self-replicating, fractal-like pattern. Whether looking at subatomic particles or cosmic structures, the same repeating structures emerge at different magnitudes. This concept suggests that reality itself may be an infinite reflection of interconnected patterns.

This is absolute nonsense. This is what happens when you speculate without bound, and spend zero time learning actual science.

Everything becomes simple when you over simplify everything

As a physicist, this is like saying: Did you know that if you zoom in on companies, there are smaller self interested groups? We call them _employees_ . And if you zoom out you have _corporations_ . *Woow.* And even farther there are these massive things that are a huge network of self interested corporations called _economies_ .Can you believe that? It's self interest all the way up and down. What great insight about how companies work! I am a genius!

Don't be a victim of the humans nature of pattern recognition, it's not always correct.

All he's saying is that there are different things with different sizes in the universe! Wow!

When i was a very small child (around 4-6 years old) i always had the intuition that our smallest cellules were galaxies and universes within us and in the same way ourselves, our galaxies and cosmos... everything were cellules within a huge being. I think there is some of that.

Something I would always say to my friend when we got into conversations about this stuff: “Infinite up, and infinite down”

I mentioned this analogy to my 8th grade physics teacher 55 yeara ago. He pointed out that the analogy falls apart as soon as you start looking at the properties of the components at different scales.

Except that the laws of physics don’t behave in the same way at the subatomic level as they do on a cosmic scale.

perhaps it's like a mobius strip, smaller and smaller until it explodes and bigger and bigger until it collapses... just a thought

This guy is incredible! You might even say he's uncredible.

like an overly simplified view on things that clump but share little to no structural similarity

Insecure people think that Brilliance and understanding is how unbelievably complicated everything is. Brilliance is accepting the simplicity
