As a dancer myself, here is why I think Lisa is so different from the rest of other dancers. She doesn't overdo the steps. She doesn't force her guts out to execute. She simply grooves with the music, inhaling it to her system, feeling the rhythm, savoring every movement, executing the choreography in a relaxed yet detailed manner. Detailed in a way that she doesn't make any step look unsure. You know, sometimes we see dancers doubt their step or moves whether they are doing it right or not or it's as if they are questioning themselves if they forgot to memorize the part there. But Lisa, she make it look so graceful like a swan smoothly moving in waters. That's why it's so nice to stare at her while she dances because you don't get confused of the steps she does. You, as the audience or the viewer, can clearly see it and you can somehow understand the choreography. And because she performs the steps with so much emotion, with so much gusto, she can manifest that to her facial expressions. From her winks, to her adorable at the same time sexy smile and smirks to just pure fierceness and that look.
Many dancers ignore this factor in dancing, the facial expressions and audience eye contact.
Both are super duper important in dancing because that helps the audience see and feel that you really love what you are doing on stage. This results in them staring at you in amazement with how charismatic and confident you are which makes them fall in love with you even more. (Like how we are feeling towards Lisa while watching this now)
Plus, whenever she has a partner when dancing, she really communicates with them too!! Have you seen the opening street dance in Gayo Daejun 2016? With her and Ten? When she smiles at him and all? That's not flirting, its called building a chemistry so that both of you will feel comfortable with each other, making the dance look so mesmerizing. The same with here. Notice the way she makes her fellow dancers involved and feel comfortable with her makes Lisa so beautiful in a whole new level. The way she smiles at them, looks or glances at them to make sure they enjoy as much as she is. She is just simply AMAZING. WOW. No one comes close to how she does all this.
And yes, Lisa Manoban is the queen!!

people sometimes forget how good Lisa is when it comes to dancing. She's holding back coz she's in a group. She doesn't show her true potential. when u check her dancing videos when she was young she was really into hiphop and BBOY

I’m so glad they’re not limiting Lisa’s dancing to just idol-style dancing and letting her go further with her dance. She has such smoothness to her moves, her facial expressions never disappoint and her ‘swag’ really makes her stand out. Honestly if they’d let her train outside of just idol dancing, she could be so so much better.

I think YG should allow Honey J to mentor Lisa. She is a unique, talented and well experienced choreographer and I think Lisa could learn a lot from her. She still competes in competitions and is always levelling up. Lisa needs someone who can challenge her and I think Honey J is that person.

honey j is like a respected dancer in korea. you guys can search her bcs she's quite famous. she even has her own fancams. recently, she picked lisa as the best female idol dancer that she met.

I always get this feeling that lisa holds back when dancing with the girls to be more in synch with the group.... and even during some of her solo stages to focus more on style and connecting with the audience, which is why she's such a fantastic but it's also why people underestimate just look at this and taki taki wow, she snaps!

I watch lots of dance videos and Lisa’s movement is hard to copy. She’s a natural dancer who is a perfectionist. He movements are like watching the ocean or a waterfall. So unique and visually appealing.
