I'm someone that knows nothing about cosplay and has always thought it was kind of stupid I have a new appreciation for what they do. It's still kind of nerdy but it's also kind of cool.

Coming from someone tryna get into sci Fi fantasy furry art and crafts n stuff, it is absolutly bonkers realizing all these cosplayers' costume costs put together make for one maybe two three (if lucky) quality full fursuits nowadays (and i mean like turbo frickin quality tbf). I've got buddies putting as much as $5k+ and 3+ years into their crafts between concept art, 3d modeling and printing, materials, and labor. Frickin mind boggling I say. Need a raise here smh and time and skills, furries frickin got me feeling like a plebian smh.

Furries sometimes even literally gotta get frickin on board cooling systems in their costumes ffs, ive worn one of those once! Holy hell!

I'm currently working on a yellow rabbit costume from the five nights at Freddy's movie in it as so far costed me about 50 or so dollars I'm really just modifying a Easter bunny costume I got for like $25 and then the rest of the materials is where that number come from
