Front Roll Kite Loop // Ep. 9 // Essentials After Boosting with Coach Crathern | WOO Kite

With the Front Roll Transition fresh in our minds, its a great time to learn the Front Roll Kite Loop. This time we are going to avoid the dab on the front hand and rather commit earlier to the kite loop by pulling on back hand.

Coach Crathern Episode 9 Challenge:
Start a new session on your WOO making sure it’s in Big Air mode. Achieve 2.5 meters on a Front Roll Kite Loop and you’ve learned a very technical trick. Stick one at 4 meters and you have mastered it!

I just landed my first frontroll kiteloops yesterday. Feeling it today though! The process was unintentional and evolved into the frontroll kiteloop. Nearly every transition I do frontrolls. And then there was the point I found it easier to start looping to save the kite after the transition. After awhile I got greedy and started pulling the loop earlier so that it would pull me during the rotation in the air ... Feeling the aftermath of those attempts ... but eventually I was able to pull halfway during the frontroll and get that epic where-the-hell-am-I feel. I honestly didn't expect this trick considering I've never even done a powered kite loop. Only after I got home did I look up videos and found out it is indeed this trick! This is definitely one of the best videos to show the mechanics. Many thanks!

The classic way to mess up landing on any trick, landing and trying to carve upwind to quick. It sounds easy not to do but you literally have to keep reminding yourself to go downwind haha.
