Thank you, Mara. A question on a performance topic: Table.ExpandTableColumn vs Table.Combine. In my anecdotal experience, Table.Combine 'appears' to work faster than Table.ExpandTableColumn when combining tables but I don't have enough data points to support the argument... Any idea?

When I try this process it doesn't just add the new file it refreshes all the previous files too. How do I set it up so that a refresh only adds the new file?

How about if i have 130 excel files 10 of them has extra column "number" that i dont need ? how do i specifically edit them in Power Quary

Ok good old From.Folder option. But who says that fx´s that you are getting after importing directly are "not good"? To my knowledge and use, you can tweak sample file as you wish, from promoting headers, change type and so on - in one place and it is gonna be applied to the rest of the query. '

Auto change data type is dangerous thing to do, only if you really know your data. 123 or 1.2 in a currency world can be expensive =)
