So I assume Chocolatey is installing everything on the OS drive (C:\). Is there a way to make it install everything on a different data drive? Say D:\ drive?

Great video - one thing - the Chocolatey demo you gave is only for individuals, NOT for admins. If an admin leverages the public repo on behalf of all the devices in the org they are on a fast path to get rate limited by Chocolatey. (ask me how I know)

Have you tried scoop installer for Windows? It seems simpler to me.

Good video and Informative. However, the music at few points was killing my ears (unpleasant). Otherwise I learned a lot. Been using winget for some time now and frankly I don't see a reason why someone would like to manage software with chocolatey if it 'recognizes' only software choco installed. For me, it's +1 for winget.

If any application is installed via Chocolatey then will that one remain auto updated as well or we need to do that manually via Chocolatey command line 🤔?

auf dem neusten windows ab jahr 2022 einfach cmd => winget install dies, winget install das. läuft! und am ende ein upgrade --all --silent

the only advantage i see on this is to create a script that automatic install the programs i like when i format windows, i don't see much reason to use it on a daily to daily bases, so like format windows install it, and then run you script with you favorite programs available in the repository all would be automatic installed without user interface.
