Trump’s refusal to condemn right-wing extremists 'has given them energy', says expert

Violence and protests by white supremacists and other hate groups in Charlottesville, Virginia, have brought the long-time racial issues in the United States to the surface once again. President Donald Trump’s comments on the violence caused even more controversy. Harvey Dzodin, a research fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, believed that Trump’s three statements are contradictory and his refusing to condemn the right-wing extremists “has given them energy”.
