man was not even around during most of the ice ages and melt offs of said ice from those ice ages. though we may be slightly speeding up the process, it was inevitable that the ice would eventually melt off. the question is, what is triggering the ice ages? and how long does the planet "stay warm" before the next ice age and whatever is causing the ice ages? obviously an event that causes a planetary freeze over, would be pretty "apocalyptic" in itself.

I find it hard to believe that those who have the wealth and power are ready to give that up so that everyone is equal. I can just imagine asking Warren Buffet, Vladimir Putin, or Bill Gates to give all their wealth and subsequent power I'm sure I'd be shown the door or better yet disappear. The answer to the arificial intelligence has already been given to us by Isaac Asimov in the 3 laws of robotics. If you saw I Robot with Will Smith you should be familiar with these; 1) A robot will not cause harm to human being either by action or omission of action. 2) A robot will follow all orders given it by a human being unless it conflicts with the first law. 3) A robot will seek to preserve its existence as long as it doesn't conflict with the first or second law.
Let's not forget these laws. If we do we will most surely be undone.
