With regard to the stat distributions when focusing armor...it's still the same. If, for example, you've equipped the Discipline Armorer mod, either a.) You'll get 10+ in Discipline, and 10+ spikes in TWO of the top three, or b.) You'll get 20+ in Discipline, and 20+ in ONE of the top 3.

I came back to Destiny in december 2022, did all the campains in order and seasons from The Deep onward, earned everything from exotic rotator, sank about 2200 hours in the game yet i have only 4 dungeons and one raid completed.

The amount of content in that game is insane, i wish i had come back earlier.

PS if you focus engrams of defiance at the war table in recovered leviathan engrams, you'll get throne-cleaver sword wich is one of the strongest sword in the game imo.

There's 21 days left in the season. They are letting you get 21 red borders for each season each day until then and you have 6 weapons in each place on the helm which means you won't be able to get them all. You can't specify "Scatter Signal" when going for your daily guaranteed red border so I would go with the mindset of "if you get it, then cool, if not, it really doesn't matter".

I'd even argue that you don't need to craft them yet so don't even worry about the materials. I'm in the same boat in that I've gotten back recently wanted to get red borders since a few months ago and found it extremely frustrating that they were so rare to drop so I kinda gave up on it until this last announcement. Either way, really... don't even worry about it. See, they will release more weapons and I'd say those onslaught weapons are better than my few crafted ones and onslaught is fun to do. The Apex Predator is great to have so I'd do those Rivan's Wishes quests from Mira and with that you can specify getting the Apex Predator so it can be a guarantee.

The game shouldn't be stressful and they make it seem like you only have a couple of weeks to prepare. Your play style matters more than 15% extra damage and people on ItzTizzle's level are the ones who mostly look for that additional damage perks but if you're like me, you probably want perks that help you play better. Auto loading holster, reload speed, slice (damage reduction from enemy), dynamic sway reduction, will probably help you a lot if you don't have the game mechanics down. For example on this one. itzTizzle pointed out that bait and switch on the apex predator was the god roll and it certainly is, but you need to shoot each weapon once within a timeframe to proc it. I'd say go for bipod instead. That way you get 4 shots, giving you more chances in case you miss and you don't need to think about switching and shoot, switch and shoot etc. It kinda makes the game a bit more difficult. But again, if that's your aim and not a terrible player like me, then ignore my whiny comment.

Game mechanics. This is by far the most frustrating things for new players (as I am one) in my opinion. Why are these enemies immune to all damage?!? Oh you need to stand in this orange circle that you can barely make out on your screen. Your best bet is to watch some videos on the various activities you want to do because not understanding the mechanics kills the fun of this game and you will never know the mechanics when playing with multiple people because everything happens so fast and the other guys in your random group just want to finish the task. To be honest, itzTizzle, if there was a video that us newbies could absolutely use and I cannot find a guide anywhere that explains and shows the mechanics of each encounter in onslaught. There's a bunch of "tips and tricks" for legend mode which, no thanks, I'm not even going to try that. I had to find the "orange circle" for immune damage in the comments on a video in order to figure it out. It's one of those "everybody knows it" kinda things. Perhaps it's just me though, I can accept that.

Hey bro thank you for this video!! Even though final shape already started now, this video is still a very big help. I came back to destiny after six years (since Curse of Osiris) to play everything. And found out the first 3 DLC’s got removed!! It was ridiculous and I’m super lost on the story now. Huge waste of money I had to refund too. No idea what’s going on. Cayde is suddenly gone, it’s very hard to get into. I’ll check out those other videos! The super breakdown one is going to be super helpful. I still don’t completely understand fragments

There isn't enough time to unlock everything. But I would suggest trying to unlock deep sight focusing ASAP for weapons or armor.
With any luck you can deep sight focus hopefully at least 3 red borders of your choice, if you start now at reset.

Then the rest you gamble your luck with the daily activities.

The only issue is that Witch weapons are tied with cards for deep sight focusing, but I found summoning pools can drop 2 red borders rather frequently, so there is that.

New player here. I’m sure it’s very dependent on other factors, but will the weapons outlined in this video help me with legend lost sectors? I’m trying to get exotics to start making builds but I’m struggling to be successful with the lost sectors. Idk where to start.

Got back in two weeks ago and am just struggling to do non matchmade content. The hardest part of this game is talking to people honestly. Im not good enough to solo legend exotic missions atm

I run Resilience + Strength for for my Sunshot/ Sunbracer build. Just wish my Sunbracers was good since it's ass with stats.
