Right! Sounds a little silly but could make a big difference in how things turn out. Pick pockets are a real thing. A friend had an encounter with 2 girls while we were in Italy. Thankfully for him nothing was stolen because he (our friend) was a large man who in short order had both girls locked in his hands until authorities arrived. This happened on the tube. What we realized was that there are no consequences to minors. I will say we all had to catch our breath before getting back on the train to our destination. I will say also that we saw those same girls come back down to the tunnel as we waited. We were all being so careful. I could explain more but it would be too long. Just sharing and hope I didn’t overstep ❤

Our family has a code word that so obscure; it it obvious it only means something to those who know IT. WORKS GREAET evertwhere😊 A whistle tune works well too! GREAT TIP❤❤❤Thanks

Great idea, esp. if you have folks in your family who are not fraud savvy. Our fam has a code word to ask for in case someone emails/calls claiming to be holding something/someone of ours for ransom. (Sadly, this is a thing now.) I picked a word my 82 year old dad will remember!

Wrestling with my brothers growing up, I have quick reflexes. I expect that if I ever found myself in that situation, that dude will leave a trail of blood from his nose!!! 😬🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Why is a code word needed for that? Why not just say “watch your bag”’for example? Not trying to criticize. I just don’t see why a code word is needed.
