I love Morris! His commercials were my favorite ads in the 70s.

Morris will forever be an advertising legend. It was approximately about around 1976 that 9 Lives started using Morris' image on its cat food products and began to phase out that silly looking cartoon cat. 9 Lives really gave Morris the well deserved respect he deserved. 😺😼

Best one was Morris saying "I'd rather eat the furniture". Early 90's. Totally impossible to find.

Can ANYONE tell me who provided the female voice of Morris's owner??? I'm have been searching for that answer for years, but no one seems to know (not even Google search).

Extrapolating on the fact that Morris only comes to dinner when his owner tells him that he is having 9 Lives would mean that he is used to getting food that is not 9 Lives. That being the case, why would his owner give him anything but 9 Lives, knowing Morris' finicky temperament toward food, especially since she has a cabinet full of 9 Lives. Was she sadistic or did she enjoy his snarky comments? This has concerned me for over 40 years.
