2 men injured after shooting in Hackensack, New Jersey

Police in New Jersey are investigating a possible drive-by shooting that injured two men.

This is really shocking for Hackensack. I used to live on Lehigh Street corner of the barber shop. I pass here regularly because I live close by. There's a lot of NY residents in Hackensack with all these new 12 apartments builded and more being built, it's cheaper than NY. Smh, this never happens here.

A lot of people think it’s weird for Hackensack but I grew up in the town next door and while there aren’t many shootings it was only a matter of time, the only thing stopping a couple of those lower Bergen county towns from being the hoods are the lack of shootings

Shooting? With all those gun control laws? How come the suspect don’t follow the laws? If they had followed the laws, this would not have happened. So how you going to make people follow the laws? Maybe a law saying you have to follow the law would work.

Welcome to the world everyone.
When people are pushing you out of neighborhood settings where some people lived for generations and raised generations of family these are the results.Gentrification is a nice word for segregation.When resources for the socio economically deprived are removed slowly and slowly crime is the result.
Take a look at all the new construction.Trust and believe it ain't for affordable housing recipients.
High rents so the poor can high tail it out of Bergen County.
