In this video, I will guide you through the process of creating a design shade using SketchUp. Follow these steps to create your own design:

1. Create a Rectangle: Start by drawing a rectangle on the green axis using the rectangle tool.

2. Draw Curves: Use the "Arc" tool to draw two curved lines inside the rectangle. This will form the shape of the design shade.

3. Copy and Move: Make a copy of the curves you just created. Move one copy upward and the other downward to form the top and bottom of the shade.

4. Delete Excess Geometry: Remove the original rectangle, leaving only the curves you copied.

5. Push/Pull: Select the shape and use the Push/Pull tool to extend it forward, forming a three-dimensional box while keeping the top open.

6. Group Your Shape: Group all the components together to keep your design organized.

7. Duplicate: Make four copies of the grouped design.

8. Final Adjustments: Position the topmost shape over the remaining ones, aligning them to create a finished design shade.
