Becoming an astronaut is one of the most dreamed-about jobs in the world. Millions of people grow up imagining what it would be like to fly into space, float in zero gravity, and see Earth from above. It sounds fun, exciting, and adventurous. Just the idea of leaving the planet feels unreal.
But like every other job, being an astronaut also comes with serious downsides. In fact, it’s probably one of the most dangerous professions out there. And the recent Boeing Starliner mission is a perfect example of how quickly things can go wrong.
As many of you know, the astronauts from that mission were safely brought back to Earth—thanks to SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. At first, it seemed like everything ended well. Everyone was relieved. But now, after returning home, the astronauts have started sharing what really happened during that mission. And the truth is shocking.
What they revealed makes one thing clear—Starliner isn’t ready, and this program might need to be shut down for good.
Before we dive into the details, make sure to subscribe to our channel so you don’t miss any future updates.
Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams were supposed to return to Earth just eight days after launching in June 2024. Instead, they ended up spending 286 days in orbit due to major issues with their spacecraft. In their first interviews since returning to Earth, they opened up about how serious the situation really was.

Boeing CEO got 32 million per year as per the hearing in Congress. It’s rich that he gets an enormous salary and Boeing is in the shape it’s in.

If the Boeing Starliner ever flies again, the Boeing CEO must be onboard as a vote of confidence for the Boeing brand. Make sure he has plenty of life insurance.

Boeing needs to get out of the spacecrafts business and figure out how to build a safe 737.

I feel these two brave souls should be taken care of in high style free for the rest of their blessed lives.

Boeing, with with its 737 failures, should have never been trusted with building spacecraft

The head of Boeing, making millions, should divide his yearly salary by two & give that to these brave astronauts. Same for head of NASA.

Boeing needs to pay back the billions they stole through false advertising.

These astronauts should be awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for their ordeal in space…..the situation they had to cope with was similar to Apollo 13.

So basically, as 'unlucky' as they were to be stuck there for 9 months, they were extremally 'lucky' to make it there in the first place.

These two need to get multiple millions for that mission.

It's a miracle that they both came back down to earth in good condition.
God blessed them indeed. Amen 🙏❤🙏

next starliner must have the ceo on board. companies love to go on about how safety is their number one priority. let's have them really show it with the guy who allocates the resources depending on it 🙂 ....though the owner of the oceangate's titan was on board and he was proud of skirting the rules..so i guess it might not always work 😛

I am so sick of these Congress people funding Boeing who in turn donate to their campaign and literally hand money back to them. Boeing needs to stay in it's lane, focus on Air travel, just leave space for the professionals, which they are not.

Boeing then gets awarded a Gen 6 fighter jet contract. Why?

7:19 I was a launch officer for the titan II. Sounds like they are using nitrogen tetroxide for the oxidizer, as did the Titan. The titan II was designed in the 50s and used for the gemini space program as well as the launch vehicle for our biggest nuclear payload. A titan was pulled from active duty and test fired every year to ensure readiness. After the system was retired as an ICBM in the early 80s, they lived on as very reliable launch vehicles for military satellites.

We NEVER had the valve problem on the Titan. This is, pure and simple, poor engineering and cost cutting by Boeing. What a travesty.
