LYRICS

i’m my own bitch, no off position switch
genes coming unzipped, that double helix bullshit
why read the room? when you could just assume?
that nothing making sense makes sense

the sun is another flame, weird picture when you look through the frame
better or worse, the ruler of the universe

Is it love?
It Don’t matter

its something A.M., mistakes are happening
Ralph’s® lighting is bright… reflecting off our eyes
each joke is a brick, (we’re) looking different than our pics
now nothing making sense makes sense

the sun is another flame, weird shooting when you don't know the aim
not heard here first, the ruler of the universe

Is it love?
It Don’t matter
It Don’t matter anyway

Is it love?
It Don’t matter
it matters

The swing in the melody sung on the word "love" but only the 1st and 3rd times makes that 2nd run hit so hard.

Louis cole is one of a kind. I haven’t encountered much music from this generation that is lighthearted, playful, and self-aware while simultaneously being profoundly deep.

This is so, so, so perfect. Beautiful. 10/10. A big bag of milk.

Louis Cole needs to make a full jazz album just like this.

His creative genius knows no bounds.

I didn't know Louis Cole until I heard Cruisin' for P on the radio. I looked for the song on YouTube and I got here. Since then, I've listened to other pieces of Louis Cole. I find him pretty interesting.

Is there nothing Louis Cole can't make his own? This is some tasty, Nelson Riddle-like swing.

Just dropping all of this on us all at once, huh? Right here in front of my crab rangoons?

That look of joy on Marta Arpini’s face at 2:15 says it all.

That's what Weather Report heritage is meant to be fifty years after! Astonishing GREAT music!

This was so good. The connection between classic swing and his style of music was so natural. Beautiful

I stumbled into watching this live and it’s one of the most memorable music-watching/listening experiences I’ve had in decades.

Every time I hear him I am more and more impressed by Louis Cole. And Sam Wilkes is a beast on the bass.

Just next level sublime… his creativity is off the charts (reminds me of the unfettered raw artistry of Zappa and Jeff Buckley)… long live Louis Cole ❤
