google lens option is now on the chrome search tab as well just like the Google app, so no need for a shortcut as well

I don't understand why there always seems to be apps available to updates when auto update is turned on. Why do they not just update automatically ?

One shortcut I missed here is the Directions shortcut for Maps found in the widgets, it's really convenient. I travel to set locations most of the time with public transport, so I've just added them as a shortcut. It opens maps automatically and navigates to the set location, showing me all the public transport options it normally would when you open maps, type the destination, press directions, etc. Huge time saver for me.

Some fixes or features I want and don't understand why they aren't available already.

1. Face unlock.

2. Bring back per charge screen on time.

3.Tap of rear for torch.

4. Speaker distortion fix (your videos actually show up pixels 6 distortion when you're talking)

5.Tap to show clock (the aod version) and not the lockscreen.

6.Hide Games and add a game launcher.

7.Add a 5x6 grid option

8.Option to remove the At a Glance widget that is of zero use for me.

9. Some indication that Google Assistant is responding when you can't see your phone, I don't know some kind of audio cue perhaps 🙄.

10. Having the option to swipe back over the keyboard.

Some are picky I know but even budget phones have these features and options.

that sound search Option was great now I don't need to have a separate app for searching songs...also i can just say the lyrics but it doesn't work with Shazam if I'm correct... anyway! i love the sound search thanks!

how do iadd connected devices to the drop down, i see some phones have access to connected device such as lights throught he satus bar, easier to turn off/on lights

The shortcut to the battery setings is already available. just pull down the notification bar and click on the battery icon. same for allarm/timer/.. click on the time on the top left

Actually there is a Google weather widget under Google widgets. You don't need to create a chrome shortcut for that. Not sure if that's only available on Pixel phones though.

Does anyone know if there’s an app that will let you create a shortcut to a scene for Philips Hue? I have multiple scenes per room and would love to have these shortcuts in a designated folders on my home screen without opening the app.
