Helldivers 2 // Up Malevolon Creek - Lvl 9 Automaton Solo Helldive - All Clear - Stealth Gameplay
Показать описание
Solo Helldive, Max Difficulty Lvl 9, all objectives (Main + Optional) completed, all outposts destroyed. Mission Modifiers were 50% increased Stratagem Cooldown and 100% increased Stratagem Call-in Time.
Who knew Helldivers was also a stealth-em-up? I'm really impressed by how much the game mechanics can support a stealth approach, and in some ways it's the easier way to tackle the higher difficulties - avoid patrols, take out objectives, and melt away into the treeline.
Space Vietnam aka Malevolon Creek as well as other jungle planets are perfect for this, offering plenty of cover and ways to break line of sight. Guerilla tactics work great - hit them hard, get out fast before the search party finds you, come back if necessary when it's quietened down.
Really started to push my luck near the end, though I had just enough to finish the mission...sorta. No such reservations in the next vid tho ;)
PS: Apologies to Volcanic who I kicked rather unceremoniously - sadly there's no way to set your game to private atm so unexpected joins are a hazard when soloing!
_______________
For my build, I've gone with the Diligence and the Senator - the Senator is amazing at one-shotting the basic enemies, which are your primary targets when engaging since they're the ones that can sound the alarm, while the Diligence offers 1-2 shot damage at close or long ranges.
The Anti-Materiel Rifle I think gets slept on a lot - while it's nothing special vs the Bugs, vs the Automatons it's an amazing all-purpose weapon - it can 2-shot hulks or 1-shot Devastators if you hit them in the eye, and has the magazine and firerate to be spammed at targets if they get too close. Its scope means you can use it at very long-ranges more easily than the railgun too.
The rest of my stratagems were built for destroying objectives - Eagle Airstrike, Eagle 110 Pods, and Orbital Railcannon all capable of destroying buildings and key targets.
Scout armour is key of course - the reduced visibility means you can get surprisingly close to enemies without them alerting, especially at night, while the radar pings keep you aware of any patrols to watch out for.
