I am impressed how strongly this brave man pays homage to a truly great man, stanley kubrick. I am happy that stanley reciprocated by having Joe saying the most important line in cinema history ever: "your money is not good here"

Your money is not good here, Mr Torrance. A fabulous actor and a great man. He joined the army when he was 16 and served in the European Theatre of Operations during World War II. He has played character roles in many movies, eg. ; The Killing, Paths of Glory, Blade Runner, The Shining, and many more. Thank you for posting.

I talked to Joe Turkel at a fan convention and he was a super nice guy, genuinely interested in my own career. Afterward I kept seeing him pop up in all kinds of movies, like Kubrick's Paths of Glory and Roger Corman's St. Valentines Day Massacre.

Joe Turkel is in 2 out of my 3 favourite films of all time, The Shining and Blade Runner, he wasn't in Jaws but i'll let him off with that one
